AlongNow connects adults with Companions for conversation and human presence. This page distinguishes what is currently part of the service from safeguards that have not yet been operationally confirmed.
OPERATIONAL TODAY

Defined in-person boundaries
Current service rules limit in-person meetings to approved, staffed public locations and require the full meeting to occur between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
Recorded service details
The current formal service record can include actual start time, actual end time, and service address.
Concern reporting
Clients and Companions can report a concern to AlongNow for owner follow-up. No emergency-response time is promised.

Safeguards we do not claim without confirmation
AlongNow does not currently represent the following as operational on this site: background checks, insurance coverage, formal identity verification, standardized Companion training, live emergency monitoring or response, or a guarantee of safety or outcomes.
If any of these capabilities become operational, the public explanation should state their exact scope, provider, limitations, and effective date.
COMMUNITY STANDARDS
Respect the person and the service boundary
Be respectful
No harassment, discrimination, threats, coercion, sexual conduct, or unwanted contact.
Keep it non-clinical
Do not provide or seek diagnosis, therapy, medical advice, personal care, medication help, or emergency intervention through AlongNow.
Keep it professional
AlongNow is not a dating service. Companions and Clients should keep communication relevant to the agreed companionship service.
Use approved settings
In-person meetings must follow AlongNow’s current staffed-public-location and daytime-hour rules. Do not move the service to a home, hotel room, vehicle, or isolated place.
Protect private information
Do not pressure another person to disclose financial, account, medical, or other sensitive information unrelated to the service.
Report concerns
Stop the interaction if you feel unsafe or the boundary is crossed, then report the issue with enough detail for follow-up.
REPORT AN ISSUE
Tell AlongNow what happened.
Email info@alongnow.com. Include your request or match reference, the date and time, and a factual description. Do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
AlongNow is not an emergency service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
